The annual Freshmen Sendoff Picnic serves to welcome a new generation into the Penn State Family and we need your help! We'll host this event for incoming freshmen and their families getting ready to head to State College for the first time and become a part of the Penn State Family.

PSU Miami Beer Tasting, with Coconut Grove Jaycees

Penn State Miami and the Coconut Grove Jaycees are teaming up to host a beer tasting and networking event. We will be tasting eight different beers with finger food over the course of the evening. Hosted at the award winning El Carajo restaurant on the corner of US1 and SW 17 Ave this will be a great event and a good chance to expand your contacts while having a good time, don't forget your business cards!

Penn State Miami will be hosting a Big 10 Happy Hour on Wednesday, June 23 in the Brickell area of Downtown Miami. Network with fellow Big 10 Alumni & Professionals while enjoying an after work cocktail, beer or appetizer.

RECAP: Habitat for Humanity

UPDATE:
We had a great turnout this past Saturday at Habitat for Humanity's ReStore in Midtown. We volunteered from 9am-3pm and helped the store build some new shelves. Then we put at least 75 tons of hurricane shutters out for sale... by hand (Maybe not quite 75 tons, but it sure as heck felt like it the morning after!). A few photos from the event:
